1/2 c butter
1 envelope Italian salad dressing mix
2 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 (8 oz) pkg cream cheese
Turn crock pot on high. Place butter in bottom of crock pot. When butter has melted (sometimes I just microwave it!), add the Italian salad dressing mix and stir into butter. Cut chicken breasts into 1 inch strips. Place in crock pot and stir to coat with butter and dressing mixture. Cover and cook on high for 2 hrs, or until chicken is fully cooked. Remove chicken. Add cream cheese and cream of chicken soup to crock pot, stir to melt and mix well. Add chicken once cream cheese is melted.
This recipe is great over noodles or rice. I like to use it over fetucini noodles. It also freezes well.
