This recipe makes 4 servings, you can double it to make more if you'd like
1 egg
2 tsp. water
*1/2 c. Panko (Japanese bread crumbs)
*1 tsp Italian seasoning
shake of pepper
1 TB flour
4 pieces of mozzerella string cheese
(NOTE: You can replace the Panko and italian seasoning with 1/2 c. italian seasoned bread crumbs and they still turn out pretty good)
1. In a small bowl, beat together the egg and water.
2. Mix Panko, italian seasoning, and pepper in a seperate bowl.
3. Coat cheese sticks in flour, then egg, then bread crumb mixture.
4. Cover cheese sticks and let chill for at least 4 hours
5. Place cheese sticks on a non-greased baking sheet and bake for 5 min. at 450 degrees (until warm), and then switch oven to broil and run under the broiler for a quick brown.
